This has been stuck in my head today and I just tried to search it as "Lunatic Fridge." Anyway, what do you think of this song? I know you're out there.

it's a good 80s metal anthem...i remember thinking it was by The Cult or something back in the day when I first began hearing it on the radio. I like it a lot.

^^ wat?
I like it a lot too, but ain't nothing 80s metal about it. More "Run Like Hell" Gilmour than anything.

I never followed up on this: Does the o.g. Red Rider have any good records?
but I like it. rogermexico OTM.

yeah in my mind i class this with things like aldo nova and golden earring's "twilight zone" and "owner of a lonely heart" -- that early-to-mid '80s futuristic-rock vibe. great tunes all.

^^ omg yes... what is it about "twilight zone" et al that file them next to this? something in the mix surely, possibly reverb-related - there's a lot of air in all of those iirc - but I can't really place it...

M83 should cover it.

but maybe "29 palms" even more so

29 Palms is from the 90s, though.

I still forget this song isn't by The Cult (tho tbf I don't really pay attention to Ian Astbury)

not a patch on "lunatic fringe", but i remember this getting a lot of MTV play back in the day. both songs remind me of early 80s tom petty.
