No major hits, no bands we talk about on ILX regularly. Yeah it'd be funny to post "Faust Arp" or the one about mangos, but I want exciting new old shitness.

#1: LiveOnRelease - I'm Afraid Of Britney Spears (2002)

possibly was a major hit but this is the first thing that came to mind. horrendous song and video.

^^^it's the line "Makes my panties drop" that really pushes that over the line. Linda Perry officially things so little of her audience that she won't let her artists do the Two Ronnies-style "don't say the naughty word and just make a comedy face instead" schtick.

yeah it's so unsexy...the noise of those guys chanting the navy drill sergeant type thing is so fucking grating.

#4: Skint and Demoralised - Red Lipstick (2008)

I mean, the only way Hard-Fi could be any more awesome than they are right now is if they were pretentious northerners who paused before the last syllable of each line so you could admire its rhyming genius.

#5: The Killers - Human (2008)

Fuck me I'm listening to this song for the first time ever right now, and I won't spoil it, but the chorus contains the single worst LINE in the history of music ever. Worse, that LINE is also repeated as THE lyrical hook. OH SHIT.
