Not sure the flatlining theory applies to the Fall. Live at the witch trials and Imperial wax solvent are pretty much on a level quality wise but to place them in this category is to undervalue an astonishing and, for the most part, superlative body of work in the intervening 28 years. XTC might apply here though.
