That song is so heavy and massive and metal without being metal. I love Pornography.

very little sounds like Pornography, which is one of the reasons it's so (genuinely) great

I only have the first Godflesh record, but maybe (going by descriptions) some of their later material?

Projekt Records?
Some of the Lycia tracks approach it, but usually slower.

"plainsong" by the cure? ;)

some of jesu's stuff, especially the first album, has -- for me -- a very similar appeal to pornography. but yeh, louis is right that there's pretty much nothing that sounds like that album ... it's something, i think, to do with the huge sound they created from quite a weedy basis (three musicians, one of whom was lol tolhurst) and very simple structures.
"cold" is one of those songs, i guess, that defined my musical tastes; one of the first things i heard that genuinely fucking BLEW ME AWAY, and sent me off down all sorts of odd musical avenues, trying to find things that resonated in the same way. to be honest, very little has.
it's the relentless chill of the synth and the bass: like being trapped in the middle of the pemafrost.

also check some early X-Mal Deutschland, tracks such as "Qual" or "Mondlicht" have a similar heavy icy vibe, tribal drumming, etc...

... yeh, the first Clan of Xymox album (first two, maybe, although I've not heard the second one for years) might be a good shout, too.
i don't imagine anyone will agree with me, but i was listening to something else last night that, in many ways, hits the same buttons: heavy, scraping bass; top-end synth wail; vast slabs of beauty between the two ...
... "say hello, wave goodbye" by soft cell. don't believe me? go on, play them back to back.

lol poor lol
I haven't listened to X-mal Deautschland or Clan of Xymox for years but I don't remember identifying either with Pornography. Not even other Cure records sound like it so it's a really tough question.
