C.T. Satin - Found A Friend
Ron Hardy - Liquid Love

Anyone else LOVE those tracks?

Durrr Durrr Durrrrrr, Thursday, 23 October 2008 02:56 (seventeen years ago)

i love the ron hardy one. it's so slow and smooth.

(although this sounds better at -6. which turns it from a 127bpm overly fidgety acid track into a 120bpm sylvester-esque spoken word sleaze hour acid anthem)

(and this proves that Derrick May's remix work is sadly under documented and vastly underrated)

xxpost Danny Tenaglia's Club Version of "U Got Me Up" was more popular, Stevie. But I did hear Cajmere's Underground Goodie Mix (which is what you've posted above) at a few parties and it killed on the dancefloor.

Kevin John Bozelka, Thursday, 23 October 2008 22:52 (seventeen years ago)

U Got Me Up is a great track, i know i heard it out a few times but not too much. i think i have a 2x12" release for that but it's been a while since i've pulled it out. that mix posted above is def. not the mix i favored.

brotherlovesdub, Thursday, 23 October 2008 22:59 (seventeen years ago)

Gina Latino's Welcome was absolutely everywhere for a while. I seriously doubt that's 'lesser known'. Great track though.

brotherlovesdub, Thursday, 23 October 2008 23:00 (seventeen years ago)

U Got Me Up always reminds me of my other fav. around that time, Funky Green Dogs - High Up. not super obscure but in a similar vein.

Funky Green Dogs from Outerspace - High Up

did this ever get a CD release unmixed?

brotherlovesdub, Thursday, 23 October 2008 23:04 (seventeen years ago)

fuck, i just got that Saint Etienne cd single in the mail today, disregard that link.

brotherlovesdub, Thursday, 23 October 2008 23:04 (seventeen years ago)

another i rarely heard but it's on Strictly Rhythm so it's not that obscure, possibly underrated...

Smooth Touch w/ Althea McQueen - Come and Take A Trip

brotherlovesdub, Thursday, 23 October 2008 23:09 (seventeen years ago)

Never Let You Go is a great call, I really love that track. Definitely one of the great Chicago tracks.

I am going to be looking out for that Farley Knows House track, I had not heard that before.
