Update:I used to think that Inkubus Sukkubus was merely a cock-rockish twist on goth bar band, a feminized version of late-period Sisters of Mercy; (ie. fun but only remarkable for their harsh Christians-are-coming-to-keeeeeeel-you lyrics) but I just downloaded an Incubus Succubus track called "Trinity", and it has such aching crystalline beauty, that I have much more respect for them. If they can fill an entire album full of this kinda stuff, they'd almost be a replacement for the lost and lamented Cocteau Twins. Also, its the only InkSuk song I've heard that doesn't have that same ridiculous, monotonous just-hook-a-click-track-to-an-amp "thundering hoofbeat" drum rhythm.
But anyhow,Side questions: Does anyone know of any other "Praaaaaise-the-Goddess" muzick, or are Loreena, InkSuk and Hagalaz Runedance the only game in town on this astral plane?
