oooh...though Flash Light is awfully tempting...

^ban with extreme prejudice (Drugs A. Money), Wednesday, 5 November 2008 02:36 (seventeen years ago)

Wow, I love nearly every song I know from this list.

Sundar, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 02:41 (seventeen years ago)

she is beyond good and evil

thereminimum chips (electricsound), Wednesday, 5 November 2008 02:50 (seventeen years ago)

xpost really? this list seems very cliched and shrill...i mean, all the songs are good, but i would def. have different choices from the artist i really like on this list.

^ban with extreme prejudice (Drugs A. Money), Wednesday, 5 November 2008 02:56 (seventeen years ago)

tho admittedly some of these i don't really know...

^ban with extreme prejudice (Drugs A. Money), Wednesday, 5 November 2008 02:58 (seventeen years ago)

Great artists/bands but lots of wrong song choices. From the available options, I vote for "Marquee Moon".

Vision, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 03:29 (seventeen years ago)

picked "I Feel Love"

Bee OK, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 04:25 (seventeen years ago)

Yeah if it was albums Congos by a million miles, but Summer wins the singles.

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 06:17 (seventeen years ago)

Brian Eno – 1/1

what the hell is that? ambient 1? in any case between 77 and 79 before and after science and music for films were way better.

alex in mainhattan, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 13:06 (seventeen years ago)

Went for Outdoor Miner but, to be honest, some of the best singles of all time on this list. On any other day I could have gone for Uptown top ranking, Good Times or Don't stop till you get enough.

Sven Hassel Schmuck, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 13:55 (seventeen years ago)

The BOC song came out in '76

Bill Magill, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 20:24 (seventeen years ago)

Public Image. One of the very best punk songs.

kornrulez6969, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 20:28 (seventeen years ago)

Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough. Easy.

kingkongvsgodzilla, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 21:58 (seventeen years ago)

24 Track Loop. Easy.

Well, yeah, I also like 'ark of the covenant' much better than 'fisherman' but I didn't saw them on the list, the fisherman riddim is definitely a classic though.

I just noted 'uptown top ranking' is there, I would've voted that one instead.

Moka, Wednesday, 5 November 2008 22:25 (seventeen years ago)

Am I the only one who gets annoyed with the loud hi-hat sound on '(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais'? I think it's a brilliant song but the hi-hat always ruins it for me.

2. Michael Jackson – Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough
3. Public Image Ltd. – Public Image

dubmill, Monday, 17 November 2008 02:09 (seventeen years ago)

I'm really in awe of just how weak this part of the list is. I voted for "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" but that's not even the best song on Off the Wall.
