There was a duet sung by Big Bird and Buffy Sainte-Marie on a Sesame Street episode. Big Bird was having trouble dealing with his feelings towards a new baby that was on the show and all the attention the it getting. To help him cope, Buffy sang him a little ditty entitled. 'Different People, Different Ways'.

the way i met caroll spinney was that i got him good seats to see a Buffy Sainte-Marie show. i got to visit him on set afterward and it was just the best.

THere was a whole era of Buffy St Marie opening the show wasn't there?
I heard that the early seasons featured several prominent heads from the San Francisco scene as voices.
Did love those psychedelic cartoons when i was a kid, dashed funky.
