80's supervehicle TV show theme battle...Knight Rider Theme or Airwolf

Or

I have to think that both are great and I am unable to choose on that
part.

Let's compare

The knight rider theme is so mysterious and yet so classic that it
has a timeless feel. It has that bass and those keyboard sounds are
just great.

The airwolf theme however has a more technical and military feel to it.
The arpeggio synth bass give it the impression of being in a computer
room. The theme has military type of chords that give it the feel of a
destruction machine.

ODB sampled "Knight Rider," right? So that.

If Timi Yuro would be still alive, most other singers could shut up, Sunday, 16 November 2008 08:35 (seventeen years ago)

I was gonna be all contrarian and go with either Airwolf or Street Hawk, but c'mon...it's Knight Rider now and forever.

Timbaland sampled Knight Rider:

and Busta did too, but not as well

Airwolf sounds like something Kid Cudi would sample or something,

Truckasauras does a fine version of the Airwolf theme, "Super Copter."

both ace, but knight rider's stock is lower precisely because it's overfamiliar due to sampling. airwolf benefits from vacuum-packed freshness.

plus, as a kid I chose an airwolf T-shirt over a knight rider one, and this has remained my guiding principle in life ever since.

and another thing...when I hear the airwolf theme tune in my head, it invariably transforms into the 'attack of the hawkmen' theme from flash gordon, and is therefore two bits of aviation awesomeness for the price of one.

Dre has sampled Knight Rider as well, and it's in that L'il Kim track too...
