MARK S!

I just realized.. I have no idea what you like. And just because you once dated Tonya H, doesn't mean you can claim to hate all music...

So have at it.. what is your Rebellious Jukebox these days? Serious, now...

(Forgive me, mark, if you have stated recent digs, as I probably just missed it..)

mark s, Monday, 27 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Erm, isn't the point of Rebellious Jukebox that tunes are played to the subject and they have to play 'spot the intro' (erm, I mean, offer interesting discussion on the music).

So we should be choosing the tunes. I'll go first...

Cue loud barking voice "From the riot torn streets of Manchester England to the scenic sewers of Chicago.."

Cue minimal rockabilly with guitars that sounds like kazoos.

Cue mewling herniated slurred shriek vocals "Totale rules unda- grounda..."

This goes on for 10 minutes, 57 seconds, every time Mark tries to discuss NWRA by The Fall he is 'shushed' by Sandy who hasn't heard this for ages and forgot how ace it is.

heh

evil dick hasn't contextualised it v.clearly howevah, and (IMAO) the complete response — to tape including works NOT by ED — is bettah tho, not least cuz it had a v.long and TOTALLY UNHINGED rant from me abt how evil and worthless "Sy Borg" is!!

mark s, Monday, 27 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You know, Mark, you still owe me the answers to the '98 BF Test that contained the opera version of the Minnie Riperton story, the track that breaks shadows laughing, and the swing-boogie Slade song - the only thing on the entire tape that I recognized - from back on play it loud.

t**t, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 01:02 (eighteen years ago)

Yes he has. But not necessarily to any music made between May 2002 and January 2008.

Dingbod Kesterson, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 09:41 (eighteen years ago)

He has, and his favourite recording made in that time is the Murderdolls July 2003 cover of "White Wedding", which made it to 24 in the hit parade.

Dom Passantino, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 09:47 (eighteen years ago)

o gosh, that's so mark s-ish.

t**t, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 13:12 (eighteen years ago)

He has the complete works of Dodgy on his shelves (n.b. this is actual verified FACT!).

Dingbod Kesterson, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 13:19 (eighteen years ago)

dodgy, even in their completeness, don't take up that much shelf space, now do they?

t**t, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 13:36 (eighteen years ago)

Not quite as much space as all of Mark's Gun CDs.

Dingbod Kesterson, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 13:40 (eighteen years ago)
