Just remember that Ringo won't sign it. No. Because he has too much to do...

I had a young woman come into my little record shop a number of years ago and tell me her grandfather had all this incredible music swag including the White Album (US pressing) number 0000005, which he got after the Beatles guys got 1 thru 4. Said grandpa was getting along in years and had started to act erratically, and would just haul a bunch of stuff out of his Bel Air home to the curb for the trashman from time to time. She lives in Atlanta but was visiting and found the thing in the trash pile one afternoon along with who knows what else. I asked who in the world he was and learned her grandfather is Stan Gortikov who was Prez of Capitol when the White Album came out and who later headed up the RIAA. She never brought me any of Stan's awesome booty and I think I saw that LP sold on eBay a while back.

So wealthy he's using low numbered copies of the White Album as stepping stones.
