"Dicks Hate the Police" by the Dicks comes to mind as a Classic. I can't exactly imagine many police officers liking that song, though.

Then again, a friend of mine once had to talk to a police officer here in New York who had a Crass sticker on his notebook. My friend asked him about it, and the cop said he loved Crass. That just seems so wrong...

It's "Officer Krupke" hence the hilarious punchline "Gee, Officer Krupke - Krup you!" oh my sides. I love how Krupke feels powerless in the face of these clever lyrics, like "If only I had some way to stop the incessant mockery of these 30-year-old juvenile delinquents"

one year passes...

HEEEEYY!!! I found this tape at Salvation army, by the "Royal Canadian Mounted Police Choir". It had a song on it called "Fotheringay." That's right, cops almost singing "father I'm gay." Huh huh huh huh! I didn't get it cuz, well it's choir music. Should I have got it even if I wouldn't listen to it, just cuz it says "Fotheringay" on it?
