This lot don't seem to have their own thread, and I'm a bit surprised.
Have recently become obsessed with girl-group stuff once again, and found a best of by this lot. I'd always thought of them a bit as girl group also-rans, but there are some great songs on here. "Needle in a haystack" and "He was really saying something" are obvious, but "That's the reason why", "These things will keep me loving you", "Twilight time", "Love is good" all classics. Great choruses. Its all in the chorus. Maybe. Anyway...

Some pretty good songs, so classic for that, and for being the basis of a Betty Boo song.

But, on the other hand, a big dud for being the Motown act it’s OK for shit indie nights to play.

I have their Motown anthology...tbh I'm not sue if I have ever listened to both discs in their entirety, but I ought to.

Surely most Indie nights would tolerate The Jacksons? Not that being played at an indie night makes a bad band, in my opinion.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who heard that track and thought of Betty Boo!
