m.i.a. is the one i've listened to the most this year, thanks to toddler fixation on it within the household. the one on my '07 top 10 list i've listened to or thought about the least this year is probably the tokyo jihen album. but now that i think about it, i wanna hear it.

The Panda Bear record, just 'cause I wore it out for myself by playing every goddam day for so long (that & Underground Kingz were my official summer jams of 2007, but I still listen to UGK nowadays). It'll come back around.

The Most Photographed Barn on the Internet (Pillbox), Saturday, 29 November 2008 22:12 (seventeen years ago)

damn, pretty much the whole top ten i came up with for the whole year. too much shit to listen to.

the National's Boxer is my answer.

but it wasn't my favorite, just probably the least played...

Without a doubt, Matthew Dear - Asa Breed. (Also Pole - Steingarten, but I never really liked it that much, I just liked the cover.)

Calle 13, Residente o Visitante, followed closely by Every Time I Die.

Dimension 5ive, Sunday, 30 November 2008 06:33 (seventeen years ago)

but not because they aren't awesome, because they are.

Dimension 5ive, Sunday, 30 November 2008 06:34 (seventeen years ago)

i don't think i've listened to jens lekman's "night falls over kortedala" this year.

abanana, Sunday, 30 November 2008 06:42 (seventeen years ago)

prob the Calle 13 and LCD Soundsystem albums, with the Dim5 caveat

The Saving Grace of Gospel House (The Reverend), Sunday, 30 November 2008 07:22 (seventeen years ago)

i think i'll wait awhile before spinning that burial disc again

psychgawsple, Sunday, 30 November 2008 07:34 (seventeen years ago)

I've listened to that Burial disc some times this year, but I barely listened to it last year

Scarface's Made is my least played from last year's top 10, but I'm gonna listen to that a little right now since he's about to release another new one.

Arcade Fire

kornrulez6969, Monday, 1 December 2008 01:52 (seventeen years ago)

The only 2007 albums I still listen to are Pinback, Silversun Pickups, Beirut, and Radiohead. Only one of those (Beirut) made my top 10 last year. Silversun Pickups is technically 06, but I don't know of anyone who knew about them until last year.

billstevejim, Monday, 1 December 2008 02:20 (seventeen years ago)

Upon realizing that I did not answer the question, I will go ahead and site Spoon, Dinosaur Jr, and The National.. I'm pretty sure I haven't listened to any of those all the way through during 2008.

billstevejim, Monday, 1 December 2008 02:26 (seventeen years ago)

Lily Allen, mostly because it came out so early in 2007 (or late in 2006). Other than that, the Ponys. Both were at the back end of my top 10.
