L'Trimm vs. JJ Fad

"Cars With the Boom" is undeniable but JJ Fad managed to sneak N.W.A. onto Top 40 radio, preempting Michel'le by two years. Who's the better Salt 'n' Pepa knockoff?

I have to go with JJ Fad as a better group (the rest of Supersonic: The Album was at least listenable, whereas I wouldn't listen to the L'Trimm record on a bet), but I have to take "Cars That Go Boom" over "Supersonic" singlewise.

However, it should be noted that my favorite all girl rap combo is Oaktown 357. THE JUICY GOTCHA KRAZY!

JJ Fad, hands down.

I don't know why so many peep always comparin J.J.Fad to other girl rappers. They were the best back in the dayz. They were the first female rappers to come out of the West Coast, the first one to have a gold single(Supersonic), and the first female rappers to be nominated for the Grammy Awards back in '89. So you can't compare them to L'Trimm( such a weak group). I definilty choose their smash hit single , Supersonic, over a trash song such as, Cars with the Boom. If it wasnt for J.J.Fad, NWA wouldnt never have came out. Those three lovely ladies: MCJB, BABY-D, and SASSY C sold over a million copies for Ruthless Records! Now, in the year of 2002, I havent heard from them in years and I really missed them. The world is not the same without them. I heard they were supposed to do a comeback album a couple years ago and I dont know what happen to that. It'll be nice to hear from them again and who knows, they might go platinum again!

I just recently found out that my co-worker is Baby D's neice. She's thanked on the back of the LP! That said, I'd still have to give the edge to JJ Fad, even though I saw the Lady Tigra about two years ago and she was great.

The L'Trimm album > the JJ Fad album,

But "Supersonic" > 99% of all songs

WHICH L'Trimm album? (Second one is best; third one is still real good.)

I like J.J. Fadd's album, too (or rather cassette, in the format I own.) But for me (unsurprisingly) this is no contest.

I tried to go as in depth as I could, including Tigra's solo career.

one year passes...

where was J.J. Fad's "You're Goin' Down" originally released? It's on that Fly Girls comp but it's not on either of their albums, and it doesn't look like it was released as a single...?
