No Bulbs 3?

Song for song, Call for Escape Route is my favorite Fall record: Draygo's Guilt, No Bulbs, Slang King 2. And No Bulbs is definitely my favorite Fall song. Dunno what sounds like it though. I'll hunt and I'll tryta find...

I'll namecheck "FM" by the Slits, even though I know it's a poor comparison.

No Bulbs 3 is the single edit of No Bulbs.

"Call for Escape Route is my favorite Fall record"

I don't even know what album this is, one of the comps?

It's an EP (xp)

Ich Ber ein Binliner (Tom D.), Friday, 5 December 2008 14:58 (sixteen years ago)

... well, really just a 12" single rather than an EP

Ich Ber ein Binliner (Tom D.), Friday, 5 December 2008 14:59 (sixteen years ago)

Yeah, but it comes with a bonus record baby. Smaller than.

Did it? What was that?

Ich Ber ein Binliner (Tom D.), Friday, 5 December 2008 16:17 (sixteen years ago)

Oh right, googled it. So it did. It's almost a mini-album!

Ich Ber ein Binliner (Tom D.), Friday, 5 December 2008 16:18 (sixteen years ago)

Yeah. 3 song 12-inch w/ "Draygo's Guilt" & "Clear Off" on the A-side, "No Bulbs" on the flip. Bonus 7-inch with "No Bulbs 3"/"Slang King 2" (i.e., versions). Imagine all that stuff in on convenient CD format by now. Only reason I call it my favorite is that I like all the songs. A lot, and without reservation. And, probably not coincidentally, it was one of the 1st Fall records I bought/heard (in '86/'87, along with Palace of Swords, Domesday Pay-Off, the Rollin' Dany 12").

Roadrunner Roadrunner?

"Baptist Blacktick" by Pavement is a pretty shameful "No Bulbs"/Fall rip.
