watch kathleen as much as possible. if you don't already, be prepared to finally understand why JD is a grate addition to the band. keep an ear peeled for witticisms from johanna. enjoy the videos that they have made, as they are grate. especially watch for a nice video by elizabeth subrin. it has the girls in an office scenario with phones and stuff and spinning around in circles. watch for when ally sheedy starts spinning around in her spazzy dance from the breakfast club... oh yeah and watch kathleen as much as possible

I saw Le Tigre back in February, and they were brilliant. as for this 'ugly lesbian' business, just ignore anyone who thinks Kathleen isn't incredibly hot in her 'feminist cheerleader' outfit and wacko hairdo. when I saw them it was all I could do to stop staring at her and concentrate on the songs (which are great).

I am ALL for talking about Slumber Party. Hooray for Slumber Party. Sleeper hit of the last year. (And I mean sleeper as in something that took a while to grow on you, rather than that awful indie band.)

So yes, WATCH OUT FOR SLUMBER PARTY!!! And even more special, watch out for their AMPS!!! Heh heh. I'm not on Kill Rock Stars, but my amps are. OK, I'm worried about the reverb situation, and I hope they brought their own reverb units, because Sarah Utter blew the Marshall and the reverb channel has never quite recovered.

Surprise of the night number one was Kathleen Hanna = Really Extremely Nice after all. She popped backstage to wish us all luck, and even offered to share their food.

It's too bad I still find her "Feminist Cheerleader" antics onstage extremely irritating. There is one song that I liked, but I can't remember what it's called. It was during the encore. Why were they dressed like the Powerpuff Girls' aunts? I didn't understand that. I liked the films, though.
