having to sing a lyric

This happens to me in two songs. Truesteppers's Booo, when the guy says "let me hear you shout: AH!UH!" for ridicoulou as it seems i always, always shout Ah Uh with the guy. But the strangest one is in holly's kiss kiss when she stops and does the two kisses, i say kiss kiss but not really it sounds more like im doing a beatbox and doing two little hi-hat beats, simply unavoidable and perfect

I always have to clap on the Zarathustra line of 'Mother of Pearl' by RoMu.

During lulls in Mazzy Star songs, I like to shout "So I gave her the gun! I shot her!" just like Jimi.

The conclusion to The Birthday Party's "Deep In the Woods" is always accompanied by me. "The si-yeedewalk regrets that we had to kill them. End."

Buell Kazee's rendition of "The Butcher's Boy" is creepy, but also compelling for sing-alongs. So I guess violence is the link here.

The Bar-Kays: "Last Night." I compulsively do the DJ trick.

I am a sucker for talkovers. The Shangri-Las are positively dangerous for me. "When you say I'm in love, you best believe i'm in luv, L-U-V" all the way to "Close. Very, very, close." I'll just stop in the middle of a conversation to add those. And I've got to do the MWUH! kisses, as well. Quite embarrassing when you're listening to it on headphones.

Morrissey's line about Churchillian legs from Kill Uncle, after that the song goes on and on and on, and it does not matter what he moans anymorrissey, but the opening lines always make duet...

At Don Hill's on Saturdays there's a guy in a tie who knows all the words to every song the DJs play and he gets up on stage and lipsyncs them for everyone in the most entertaining and energetic way possible. He's awesome.

Loads and loads of things, very much including all the great talky bits on the Shangri-Las' hits. The strongest that has leapt to mind so far is probably in the Buzzcocks' boredom, the bit where the music stops and he sings "b'dum b'dum".

Whenever I hear "You Dropped the Bomb on Me" and there's that brief pause after they sing the title, I have to turn my head around and look at the person behind me and mouth the "baby" part. I also do this with the "uh huh...uh huh" following the title in Abba's "Voulez Vous". For awhile I was adding a Miami Sound Machine-style "tooooooooNIGHT!" whenever there was a break in any dance song, but that got kinda tired.

What happens on Satuday's at Don Hill's these days, Tracer?

The talky bits on New York Dolls records, most of which are ripped off from Shangri-Las

We tried to imagine us together at thirty, but that always seemed such a long way away - Cinerama, Health and Efficiency.

I'll sing along to pretty much anything I know the words to, but to narrow it down, one passage that must be SCREAMED along to is in Crayon's "All the Stars" on their fabulous _Moominland_ EP: the chorus that goes "YOU JUST WANT SOMETHING TO CALL YOUR OWN! YOU JUST WANT A REASON TO GO ON LIVING!". Screaming is fun.

have to sing the harmony part to zhane's 'hey mr. dj'.

i also take advantage of long intros - i sing my own solo verse. there is karaoke latent in a lot of soul music.
