pretty tough but the first 2 redman albums are just mindblowing classics, obv both dudes are LOL funny in an awesome way, super engaging personalities, all around pleasant guest verse dudes, fairly consistent, etcetc

Redman's verse on Hardcore>>Luda's career.

beyonc'e (max), Friday, 19 December 2008 13:45 (sixteen years ago)

basically gotta go w/ red here due to new jerusalem allegiances but that new luda/t-pain single came on the other day and even tho its pretty mediocre in terms of luda's career it still sounds funnier and more engaging than most of the other shit on the radio--hes a charismatic guy even for a rapper

M@tt you think Darkside is more of a classic than Muddy Waters?

expletive for lady parts (Granny Dainger), Friday, 19 December 2008 14:41 (sixteen years ago)

yeah pretty much, i dunno...i think it's more of a time/place thing, like i'm sure you could make the argument that muddy is better...

but darkside just blew my head off, straight up...also obv. the first album was the peak of mid-period erick sermon type beats, those real thick grinding deep bass west coast-meets-east coast type shit, jeep beats.

man now i wanna go download muddy waters though

Is "Future Thugs" the only track where Luda and Red go head-to-head? Or am I forgetting some remixes?

Sven Hassel Schtupp (The stickman from the hilarious 'xkcd' comics), Friday, 19 December 2008 15:31 (sixteen years ago)

i think so...when the thread started i was like "have they been on anything together? Fatty Girl? no wait, that was Keith Murray..."

e|t|c (some dude), Friday, 19 December 2008 15:53 (sixteen years ago)

well, there was this...

i remember cracking up at this but also being kind of impressed that Luda really put in an effort to make it work

e|t|c (some dude), Friday, 19 December 2008 15:57 (sixteen years ago)
