i haven't decided my vote yet...s1ocki, youre right...7 and 7 is gonna walk away with this...but I also really like Orange Skies and She Comes in Colors (did the VU cover this on some tribute album?)

Stephanie's great, too.

Hipster Loser-Loser (Drugs A. Money), Wednesday, 17 December 2008 15:26 (seventeen years ago)

listening to orange skies he sounds sooo sarcastic - apparently in the vernacular of the late 60 la music scene the band was known as "hate"

ice cr?m, Wednesday, 17 December 2008 15:28 (seventeen years ago)

yeah well that's maclean's song. lee's been known to show a bit of disrespect to his greatest collaborator...

"She Comes In Colors"

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 17 December 2008 15:35 (seventeen years ago)

I was just listening to the Castle and I am amazed at how classic it is...prolley this band's best pre-FC acoustic fingerpicking...

this is a very good album...chop off the twenty-minute jam and it definitely is like Slates to FC's Hex Enduction Hour...

Janitor in the Valley of the Dolls (Drugs A. Money), Wednesday, 17 December 2008 21:21 (seventeen years ago)

reckoner

the HOOS from the hilarious internet connection (BIG HOOS aka the steendriver), Wednesday, 17 December 2008 21:24 (seventeen years ago)

Mark G, Wednesday, 17 December 2008 21:38 (seventeen years ago)

"Que Vida," just 'cause.

If Timi Yuro would be still alive, most other singers could shut up, Wednesday, 17 December 2008 21:49 (seventeen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

Damn, I missed this, but so what: 7 and 7 didn't need another vote.

Is it really "My bible"?? I always heard it as "My Father".

Myonga Vön Bontee, Thursday, 1 January 2009 09:07 (seventeen years ago)

My attention span's so short I would've sworn he was saying "my dog." Shrugs.

Anyway, this is, like, the third best Love album, so it can only be the third best album ever.

I find it completely fucked up that Stephanie Knows Who received 0 votes and Revelation got 2.
I guess I should have voted in this poll.

Trip Maker, Thursday, 1 January 2009 09:58 (seventeen years ago)

"Stephanie" was actually a single. I saw one once.

Pepper needs new shorts! (Drugs A. Money), Friday, 2 January 2009 01:50 (seventeen years ago)

miss that, but would have vote Que Vida.
who voted for revalation? - the longest waste of time ever in an otherwise masterpiece record

Zeno, Friday, 2 January 2009 11:53 (seventeen years ago)

Yeah, but at least it's still less boring than the Stones' "Goin' Home" (which allegedly inspired it.) (And "She Comes In Colours" > "She's A Rainbow", too. Love 2, Rolling Stones 0.)
