Classic Classic Classic. I'm slowly collecting these on vinyl.
I probably like The Eternals' "Wrath of Zeus" because it's the silliest. Would love to drop it in a set.
― Tim F, Monday, 22 December 2008 09:06 (seventeen years ago)
Meant to say that I like it the best. Will do a top ten a bit later.
― Tim F, Monday, 22 December 2008 09:07 (seventeen years ago)

'cherie d'amore' by le knight club, guy-man's group for me if we were doing OPO. I take it crydamoure is no more? last release was 5 years ago?

― Local Garda, Monday, 22 December 2008 13:18 (seventeen years ago)
daamn i forgot all about 'Padre'
― Timezilla vs Mechadistance (blueski), Monday, 22 December 2008 13:49 (seventeen years ago)
padre is still way rad. and way hard to mix! for me, anyway.
last i heard of archigram was that extremely decent madonna "hung up" remix that as far as i know never got released.
― andrew m., Monday, 22 December 2008 15:50 (seventeen years ago)
i've been finding some crydamour records around lately too and pick them up when i can. got doggystyle and a play paul--the title excapes me--just recently
― andrew m., Monday, 22 December 2008 15:54 (seventeen years ago)
padre: best thing kitsune ever did for us?!
― andrew m., Monday, 22 December 2008 15:56 (seventeen years ago)
I just love Turkish Avenger. They had to be writting because of Erol Alkan, Turkish Avenger of the Dancefloor. Been lately listening to both Waves compilations and it just keeps amazing me. They have the rightest beats.
― elgolfo, Monday, 22 December 2008 16:15 (seventeen years ago)
play paul is def my fav shit off this label - hold on lemme post a short lil clip from the mix where i threw "spaced out" on top of "2 much booty" by soundtmaster t

"Wrath of Zeus" is really such an awesome track, I do hear it out from time to time! It's like a textbook example of 80 terrible production mistakes that coalesce into a dancefloor monster.
Play Paul's "Spaced Out II" is probably my favorite Crydamoure track.
― I'M ACTUALLY FINE (I DIED), Monday, 22 December 2008 16:27 (seventeen years ago)
which is the one with the sample that goes "i am here for you/love was meant for two"? think it's by le knight club but can't remember

Le Knight Club's Santa Claus. That's a loping bass line crossed with some hypno-snyth stabs right there.
― paulhw, Wednesday, 24 June 2009 01:07 (sixteen years ago)
"Fell off after 5 12"S"
Still one of the more WTF things i've read.
― Tim F, Wednesday, 24 June 2009 01:13 (sixteen years ago)
I agree. Also love the B-side "Holiday On Ice." Low bpms, which made in hard to mix, back in the day when I thought it had to be all seamless. Oh yeah! Santa Claus has the worst DJ fade out of all time too.
Tim, fwiw, I associate all this stuff so strongly with late 90s Melbourne.
― paulhw, Wednesday, 24 June 2009 01:21 (sixteen years ago)
I wasn't going out clubbing in late 90s Melbourne :-(
― Tim F, Wednesday, 24 June 2009 04:10 (sixteen years ago)
my fav underrated cyrdamoure jam is a B2 track on a A1 - B1 - B2 length single ... GUESS WHICH ONE
― zzz (deej), Wednesday, 24 June 2009 08:22 (sixteen years ago)
Deelat's "Wetness Anthem"? Le Knight Club's "Tropicall"?
― Tim F, Wednesday, 24 June 2009 08:36 (sixteen years ago)
tropicall it is
― zzz (deej), Wednesday, 24 June 2009 08:41 (sixteen years ago)
kinda like that more than anything else on the 12" -- that repeated piano build & release is dope
― zzz (deej), Wednesday, 24 June 2009 08:42 (sixteen years ago)
whenever i play that everyone always looks at me for a minute like 'wtf????'
i played wrath of zeus out the other week - one of the best/most fun house songs ever.

The "Notes" on the Waves II comp is funny.
"Track 13 contains samples of "I Wanna Be Your Dog" performed by The Stooges."
― andrew m., Wednesday, 22 July 2015 20:50 (ten years ago)
OF COURSE the 2 I really want to buy right now ("Soul Bells/Palm Beat/Tropicall" & "If You Give Me../Playground/Loaded") are the most expensive on discogs. Sheesh.
― andrew m., Wednesday, 22 July 2015 21:00 (ten years ago)
It still upsets me that they've never gone digital. Fiat Lux did it, why can't Crydamoure?
