No Crydamoure Thread? C/D S/D

French house record label owned by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Founded in 1997 and co-owned by Eric Chedeville. Artists included but were not limited to Le Knight Club, Crydajam, Play Paul and The Buffalo Bunch. It's latest release came out in 2003.

Classic Classic Classic. I'm slowly collecting these on vinyl.

I probably like The Eternals' "Wrath of Zeus" because it's the silliest. Would love to drop it in a set.

Meant to say that I like it the best. Will do a top ten a bit later.

'doggystyle' is so classic. whatever happened to archigram, i ask!!!

last spotted remxing ladytron, & they are a duo, i always thought archigram was 1 solitary man..

padre is still way rad. and way hard to mix! for me, anyway.

last i heard of archigram was that extremely decent madonna "hung up" remix that as far as i know never got released.

i've been finding some crydamour records around lately too and pick them up when i can. got doggystyle and a play paul--the title excapes me--just recently

I just love Turkish Avenger. They had to be writting because of Erol Alkan, Turkish Avenger of the Dancefloor. Been lately listening to both Waves compilations and it just keeps amazing me. They have the rightest beats.

"Wrath of Zeus" is really such an awesome track, I do hear it out from time to time! It's like a textbook example of 80 terrible production mistakes that coalesce into a dancefloor monster.

Play Paul's "Spaced Out II" is probably my favorite Crydamoure track.

I agree. Also love the B-side "Holiday On Ice." Low bpms, which made in hard to mix, back in the day when I thought it had to be all seamless. Oh yeah! Santa Claus has the worst DJ fade out of all time too.

Tim, fwiw, I associate all this stuff so strongly with late 90s Melbourne.

The "Notes" on the Waves II comp is funny.

"Track 13 contains samples of "I Wanna Be Your Dog" performed by The Stooges."

OF COURSE the 2 I really want to buy right now ("Soul Bells/Palm Beat/Tropicall" & "If You Give Me../Playground/Loaded") are the most expensive on discogs. Sheesh.

It still upsets me that they've never gone digital. Fiat Lux did it, why can't Crydamoure?
