K DEF FROM REAL LIVE (deej), Monday, 22 December 2008 09:48 (seventeen years ago)

K DEF FROM REAL LIVE (deej), Monday, 22 December 2008 09:55 (seventeen years ago)

the change record is an 8/10 record that becomes 10/10 because it is set up so well by "Let Yourself Go" so I voted for "Let Yourself Go"

The T Connection one is the one that I play the most at house parties...

J@cob, Monday, 22 December 2008 20:54 (seventeen years ago)

Oh god, don't do this to me.

Eric H., Monday, 22 December 2008 20:59 (seventeen years ago)

The Damon Harris is the real sleeper on this one for me.

Eric H., Monday, 22 December 2008 21:00 (seventeen years ago)

(Apparently I should really consider selling this.)

Eric H., Monday, 22 December 2008 21:01 (seventeen years ago)

Mine's probably still VG. The black stuff's starting to peel away a little.

K DEF FROM REAL LIVE (deej), Monday, 22 December 2008 23:56 (seventeen years ago)

moonship journey to baja, Tuesday, 23 December 2008 00:01 (seventeen years ago)

isn't "dreaming a dream" between "put your body in it" and "by the way you dance"?

Craig D., Wednesday, 31 December 2008 14:01 (seventeen years ago)

fun poll but what's great abt this set is the sum of the parts (gestalt if you will) the flow and transitions. truly not a bad track so EVERYBODY wins.

I'd love to hear a larry DJ set from 1981-82 when synth-soul new wave & reggae surfaced in the mix, that was his heyday IMO.

until that happens this album is my favorite disco document, trumping even saturday night fever.

m coleman, Wednesday, 31 December 2008 16:45 (seventeen years ago)

OMG the break on that supremes song

two years pass...

The last part of the Jermaine Jackson track, with the dubbed-in children (apparently from a Grand Funk track), is so beautiful. Perfect ending.
