Jeez.. the Hives have really let themselves go

the only good russian pop is vitus - er i thing his best tunes are opus I and II (cant remember the names. tatu are the best thing to listen to. - try' ya sashla s uma' (the infamous lesbian schoolgirls in the rain one), and 'nas ne dogonyat'. avoid alla pugachyova and kirkorov like the plague. also good - some ska punk (like spitfire). zdob si zdub are ok for folky-ska stuff. out of the hasrd house-pop stuff (ie the majority) i like akula - 'kislotnii musik', but thats pretty old now. detsl is not too bad teenybopper hiphop, badbalance have done some ok hiphop. 'diskoteka avaria' ("disco-accident") have done some good house of pain pop-rap stuff.
