"Back on the Chain Gang" brings tears to my eyes, but the others work me up in different ways. And those are just my personal top 4 from that list.

So much choices. Blitxkrieg Bob, Sonic Reducer, Chain Gang, Burning Down the House. Aloha Steve & Danno for the gtr solos. But Shake Some Action is from another planet. Happy to agree with Geir on this one.

Much as I love 'Alex Chilton' it's got to be the Flamin' Groovies.

I voted for "Give Back The Key To My Heart", because I loved Uncle Tupelo so much: the violin on that track is so good, as is Doug Sahm's vocal.

I was looking for Pagans Cadaver videos for the Coulter thread when I ran into this Dead Boys.

Weird, Shake Some Action & Slow Death are 2 all-time fave tunes but I know absolutely nothing about the Flamin' Groovies. Music geek blind spot.

If only "The Wagon" was the original 7" version ...

It's gotta be Chain Gang. Great comp, great songs but that's the one that's working for me at the moment. It's all about the song!

finally decided on "Burning Down The House."

I have an inkling that Shake is going to take this. It's a monster-that-never-gets-old type jam. Not that Chain Gang isn't. My gut went with Shake though, because it truly, truly, truly makes everyone Shake Action when it goes on at a powerpop dance party. And girls in leather jackets shaking...gets my vote every time.

Voted Birdman, just to make sure someone did, but there's lots of good here. I'd be happy if someone played this straight through at a party, which is mighty unusual for such a mixed bag of a comp.

"World Class Fad" will win, judging by the way these polls usually go.

Just want to rep for Book of Love real quick, even though I didn't vote for them. Turned onto them in high school by my friend Natalie, who later died in a car accident. Hearing them is bittersweet.
