I was in a clothing store waiting for some friends as they shopped when the store's station (which was previously playing Cat Stevens' cover of "Another Saturday Night") started playing this really good Motown-sounding song I didn't recognized. I'm pretty sure it's early-to-mid 1960s but it might have been later; sounded like Lloyd Price meets mid-60s Isley Bros. One male lead singer with some great female backing vocals, or so I remember. Sample lyrics I jotted into my phone were: "Open up to you, walkin' to you."
C'mon, ILM.

Are you thinking of Jamie Lidell's "Open Up To You"?
