And this has to be "Showing Out". IMO their best moment ever!

OMG, I agree with Geir.

It only takes a moment to feel alright...

Looking at this list, I used a PWL singles discography and I believe this also includes a few non-Stock/Aitken/Waterman productions. I am pretty sure the two Phil Fearon singles were produced by "mixmaster" Phil Harding rather than them. But it sounds roughly the same nevertheless. So I guess I will continue this series including Phil Harding and Pete Hammond productions too.

I have a soft spot for "Brand New Lover."

their best moment didn't come until 1989: Donna Summer's "This Time I Know It's For Real."

yes Mel and Kim for me. Their best single didn't come until a few months later tho, Respectable.

never heard any of these - wasn't Haywoode's Roses this year too? Maybe not a SAW production.

Grandpont Genie, Thursday, 15 January 2009 15:46 (seventeen years ago)

Actually pretty sure "Roses" was from 1986. Wonder why it isn't mentioned in the singles discography on stockaitkenwaterman.com.

Geir Hongro, Thursday, 15 January 2009 23:48 (seventeen years ago)

According to her wiki entry, it was a SAW production, but was a big hit second time around, having been out in 1985 first.

Mark G, Friday, 16 January 2009 10:26 (seventeen years ago)

It wasn't in 1985 on that site either. Maybe it was originally a B-side?
