It's like no one cares about 2nd division mid-90s Japanese hip hop.

What was 1st division mid-90s Japanese hip hop??!!? DJ Krush, I guess.
I've heard only heard the Mo Wax comp and it's decent enough in a thoroughly forgettable way. I think moonship loves it though so I'm sure he'll be on in a second.

Yeah didn't structure my sentence very well there!
That's kind of the impression I'm getting, but possibly worth further investigation.

the major force vinyl boxed set i own is one of my prized possessions. i want to be buried with it. truly imspirational to me. and the boxed set is all i really know about those guys. i don't even know if major force west is the same thing as major force. were tycoon to$h and terminator troops a part of major force west?

Skylab were drum and bass types weren't they? I remember them, as well as MFW, from this.

skylab are hard to classify -- not just dnb.
Results 1 - 2 of 2 for sampladelia skylab. (0.48 seconds)
but yeah they were an offshoot. unkle also at one point contained some of the major major force guys. the mo'wax box of the 80s shit is epic, but i never got round to major force west.
