I recon no music collection is complete without Gheorghe Zamfir clssics like Woman in Love, Lonely Shepherd and Feelings. Nor without at least one copy of El Condor Passa bought from a bunch of Peruvians busking at the shopping centre.

What do the rest of you think?

ohh nooo... panpipes remind me of work (i supervise exams for english- as-a-second-language students twice a month.), because not only is it right near the victoria market on a saturday morning (which is a mecca for peruvian buskers), but we have to a play a relaxation tape to calm down all the exam candidates... and there are only two: "mariner" (whale noises), and "echoes of the andes" (yr panpipes)

But Minna ... weren't you totally relaxed?

As an aside, I was in Croydon last Christmas and there were 3 Peruvian panpipe bands within 50 meters of each other.

The panpipes on Shakira's "Whenever, Wherever" ... uber-classic!
