These two seem evenly matched to me, I wonder what ILX thinks.

Blood on the walls there

The guy from Greenslade wrote the theme to that thing set in a university with Dr Who in it, so they win.

Glansel & Gretel (Raw Patrick), Tuesday, 20 January 2009 10:53 (seventeen years ago)

The Barron Knights wrote "A Taste of Aggro", so they win everything.

The guy from Greenslade

You mean Greenslade? From Greenslade?

Top Tip: Dave Greenslade was also the inspiration for the character Gordon Brittas from some sitcom I can't remember the name of.

Barron Knights FTW... Pisstake of "Float On" on TOTP

Props to the BKs for mashing up "Orville's Song" and "Buffalo Gals".

Props to the 'slade for the Bedside Manners Are Extra sleeve art. I had that as a poster, y'know. Awful album, mind. And the follow-up Time And Tide was barely over 30 mins long, which is a tad skimpy for prog.

BKs it is, then.

Barron Knights -> Leighton Buzzard's finest (with Kajagoogoo and Mr Silver Bullet hot on their heels)

Yehudi Menudo (NickB), Tuesday, 20 January 2009 11:06 (seventeen years ago)

The Wurzels vs. Chas and Dave would be a good fight in a scrumpy vs. bitter sort of way.

Having to choose is too painful to contemplate

Best thread ever.
