Although the fact that he's blocking his shit might mean he's a bit of a prude. Guy on the far right is clearly game for anything.

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:39 (seventeen years ago)

sweet "it's in the way that you use it" -era Clapton shirt, bro

now is the time to winterize your manscape (will), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:39 (seventeen years ago)

So, I didn't realise that crappy 80's referencing day-glo pop-indie twunts weren't just confined to the UK.

snoball, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:39 (seventeen years ago)

it is sort of a bummer that we have the apotheosis of western culture so early in the 21st century--still i feel honored to be witness to the last shining moment before the downfall of america

8====D ------ ㋡ (max), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:39 (seventeen years ago)

You guys really should be thinking more about which one you want to fuk.

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:40 (seventeen years ago)

let's fucking party!

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:41 (seventeen years ago)

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:41 (seventeen years ago)

guy on the right is like bastard child of Slash and Richard Simmons... can totally imagine him moonlighting as a clown for rent.

(*゚ー゚)θ L(。・_・) °~ヾ(・ε・ *) (Steve Shasta), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:42 (seventeen years ago)

I hate the lip-biting shit that one dude is doing. It just screams date rapist.

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:43 (seventeen years ago)

Guy on the far left looks like he's been slipped roofies by dude next to him.

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:44 (seventeen years ago)

I imagined he was Ben Stiller's character from the new Wes Anderson movie set in Bushwick.

  • this is a real band
  • the cardinals are in the superbowl
  • our president is some kind of muslim

8====D ------ ㋡ (max), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:46 (seventeen years ago)

He totally looks like he could be Stiller's long lost younger brother (or illegitimate love child.)

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:46 (seventeen years ago)

these guys could use a dude in a giant pig suit IMO

ie: BANGING (M@tt He1ges0n), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:47 (seventeen years ago)

The Williamsburg version of Deliverance starring Cash Cash.

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:49 (seventeen years ago)

He totally looks like he could be Stiller's long lost younger brother (or illegitimate love child.)

I was thinking more Jason Schwartzmann

Courtney Love's Jew Loan Officer (Shakey Mo Collier), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:50 (seventeen years ago)

Why are they taking the worst possible shite from the 80's and using it as the basis for their entire, er, thing? Is this what the hipster kids call "ironic"? I'm an old fart, I was there, the 80's were mostly not like this. BThey look like a bunch of French soccer fans circa 1982.

snoball, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:50 (seventeen years ago)

"I was thinking more Jason Schwartzmann"

Wait isn't he Stiller's illegitimate love child?

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:51 (seventeen years ago)

have any of you guys even listened to the music?!

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:54 (seventeen years ago)

snoball I strongly recommend you stop thinking hard about this and focus on the question "which 1 would u fuk".

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:54 (seventeen years ago)

Should we? Will it make the decision easier?

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:55 (seventeen years ago)

nah, the 80s were really like this - ONLY WORSE

x-post

Courtney Love's Jew Loan Officer (Shakey Mo Collier), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:55 (seventeen years ago)

I don't have speakers at work, of course I haven't listened to it!

Courtney Love's Jew Loan Officer (Shakey Mo Collier), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:55 (seventeen years ago)

alex in SF is the only one on point in this whole thread

8====D ------ ㋡ (max), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:58 (seventeen years ago)

hey i suggested a pig suit like brokencyde!!!!!

ie: BANGING (M@tt He1ges0n), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:58 (seventeen years ago)

Okay I listened for 20 seconds and it didn't help. However I did notice that lip-biter always bites his lips in pictures.

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:59 (seventeen years ago)

2nd from the right dude doesn't look as cute in other pictures.

Alex in SF, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:59 (seventeen years ago)

i like the far right guy's MC5 afro

ie: BANGING (M@tt He1ges0n), Wednesday, 21 January 2009 23:59 (seventeen years ago)

I guess the two guys on the left are brothers. Serious possibilities there if one dude wasn't a rapist.

Alex in SF, Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:00 (seventeen years ago)

I'm straight, so I wouldn't want to "fuk" any of them. "fuck up" however, well that's another matter - which they seem to have anticipated with "Take It To The Floor". Guy on the far left looks like a glue sniffer. Guy on the far right's hair looks more like Moss from The IT Crowd than MC5...

snoball, Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:27 (seventeen years ago)

And I have listened to the music. Never minds the vocals, it's like the whole track has been processed with Autotune.

snoball, Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:28 (seventeen years ago)

dude this isn't about being straight or gay this is about st8 up fukkin a member of cash cash (of ur choosin)

ie: BANGING (M@tt He1ges0n), Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:29 (seventeen years ago)

"I'm straight, so I wouldn't want to "fuk" any of them."

Methinks thou dost protest too much.

Alex in SF, Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:33 (seventeen years ago)

BTW I'm all for giving these guys a kicking, random drunken violence & aggro being an English speciality...

snoball, Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:33 (seventeen years ago)

Your sex life is weird, snoball.

Alex in SF, Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:33 (seventeen years ago)

think about how the last 8 years could have been different if you would have boned just ONE dude with goofy hair and reebok pumps?

ie: BANGING (M@tt He1ges0n), Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:34 (seventeen years ago)

snoball, Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:37 (seventeen years ago)

"My sex life is non-existent"

Give your description above I'm not surprised!

Alex in SF, Thursday, 22 January 2009 00:38 (seventeen years ago)

I'll take mister lip biter, if he'd just stop biting his lip.

Glow In The Dark (Bimble), Thursday, 22 January 2009 01:12 (seventeen years ago)

i like how in the "acoustic" version of "party in your bedroom" dude interupts the vocoder to say 'nah none of that this time, let's do this for real' to reveal... heavily auto tuned vocal.

Barack History Month (Oilyrags), Thursday, 22 January 2009 02:07 (seventeen years ago)

anyone catch anything yet?

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Thursday, 22 January 2009 23:40 (seventeen years ago)

Why was this not a poll?

Alex in SF, Thursday, 22 January 2009 23:40 (seventeen years ago)

six months pass...

While their look is questionable, "Party in Your Bedroom" is kind of amazing. There are some parts I'd like to edit out (the trying too hard JC Chasez-style breakdown), but the "Another Night, Another Dream"-ish chorus (but better!) and emo-Modjo-ness of it all is really appealing, and when the four-four beat kicks I wish it would go on forever.

Spencer Chow, Wednesday, 5 August 2009 00:54 (sixteen years ago)

Also, are there any remixes? I can't seem to find any.

Spencer Chow, Wednesday, 5 August 2009 01:09 (sixteen years ago)

waaaitaminnit.....
are these guys ILM favourites four years on?
