Just saw them live this weekend and the Painting With songs are soooo good live. They made me feel like I was on drugs and I wasn't even drinking. Lying on the Grass and Golden Gal were amazing so I'm adding them on my pox even when it's too soon to make that call.

yeah i saw them twice this year and they were great! definitely preferred it to the CHz tours... there's so much more variety in their PW sets because all three have modulars up there, and they've switched up the setlists a lot. the transitions and buildups between songs are the best they've been since the Feels/SJ tours. the record left me a bit cold at first, but once i saw them i came to love pretty much the whole thing. i really hated 'Lying in the Grass' when it premiered with that app that doesn't work anymore back in January, but that's been my favorite PW song live, the outro jam on that one bangs.
