it's very very catchy...surprising that everywhere says it was produced by Tricky, because it has that whole Los Da Mystro-type swinging groove with the flanged drums, but either way, nice production...although that barely there chorus where the most evocative line is a shrugged "there's nothing I can say" once again makes me wonder why this guy is a highly paid songwriter.

basically i'm far from ready to join the ILM the-dream superfan all-stars, but i'm totally willing to give the 2nd album a chance if it promises to be more Fast Car/Shawty Is A 10 and less Nikki/Falsetto

you should check the mariah one, way more in the former camp

i don't even remember what this CNN track w/ ron browz sounded like but the predictable swizz/jada/busta remix is pretty decent, if only because it has a verse from jada and busta 3.0

i love remixes that are totally different from the OG... glad they're making a comeback, I'm so over those lame ass "posse cut" remixes with a million different corny rappers on them

fab is one rapper where i don't mind when his guest verses are crushingly topical because he usually brings the lols

If someone asked me to download the song "Successful" for them, which is the best/most official/most well-known version?:

1) Successful - Drake (6:11)
2) Successful - Drake feat. Lil Wayne (5:51)
3) Successful - Trey Songz feat. Drake (4:26)

They all sound like the exact same song from the 30 second samples on iTunes!

6:11. It has both Wayne and My Mans Trey Songz on it.

the original version on the So Far Gone mixtape is Drake/Trey Songz/Lil Wayne. then when it was officially sent to radio the Wayne verse was removed. then when it was released on the Drake EP and the Trey Songz album Trey Songz added a verse and some ad libs in addition to the chorus he sings on the original. imo the Wayne verse sucks and Trey's additions on his version are superfluous, so you're probably best off with the one solely credited to Drake, although afaik every version has Trey singing the chorus.
