Look how cool they are with their blueprints and shiny barrow and sweet, smooth, clear wall (not like that jagged, vitriolic other Wall of the '70s made by a certain PF).

This is my first time ever posting a picture, so I hope it works.

I agree, the Wall was the worst disco record.

"Dusic"!

weird, i just heard Dazz thrown into an old-school mix on a local hip hop station the other day and was reminded of its hotness. better than the professed "disco jazz" hybrid concept probably has a right to be.

Ha, I wanted to fit "Dusic" into a mix back in spring or so, and spent forever trying to do an edit that would fit the flow -- the flute solo is burned into my head at this point.

just picked up the s/t with "ain't gonna hurt nobody" and "dusic" the other week. greatness. i've been obsessed with "seaside vibes" off of the summer heat lp for a few years now. always pick brick!

The second Brick album is one of the most perfect albums I've heard. I love this Soul Train clip, there was a better quality version up but it seems to have gone. It's one of my favourite songs and I love that guy who can't seem to stop pointing when he sings, he's got the solo's covered too.

It was among my first, yes. I was 18 at the time. I owned "Good High" on vinyl, but didn't yet have a record player. It was like my prized possession!

"Happy" is a perfect song; you have good taste, Kitchen Person.

I was listening to "Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody" in the shower when my boyfriend came home and said, "This wasn't Kid 'n' Play?"I felt kind of ANGRY and SHOCKED that I didn't know they had smapled it!

Maybe it's because I've not been listening to a lot of guitar stuff but the solo on "Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody" sounds so slick and clean, like unnaturally clean but in the most obliging way.

Every time I hear a song that mentions music in the lyrics, I just pretend they're singing Dusic. Like Rhianna came on the other day at the roller rink and I was thinking please don't stop the Dusic.
People don't talk about Dusic enough, but that song slams.
