I reckon Sven should get out the ghettoblaster and whack on anything from the folllowing: "Rock n Roll Star", "Burning Wheel", "Move On Up", "Block Rockin' Beats".
Needless to say, "World In Motion" should be included too but I don't want to include footy-related songs in this quizzery.

Actually, Trap should get the Azzuri pumped up with some good ol' fashioned straight-up hip-pop anthems, "Simon Says", "Ante Up", "Jump Around". See if we can get the bastards moving for once.

On the party hip hop song idea, how about the (perhaps) football- themed "Kik Off" by Blak Twang. It has whistles in it too.

The Ministry of Sound is quite ahine- I was DJing there with a friend, and out of all our synth-pop/scmindie CDs, the closest thing we had to proper 'house' music was I Feel Love. We played I Feel Love and a load of essex girls stormed the booth, shouting "are yeez nat gonna play any *house* music, leek?". truly terrifying, I dont know how we got out alive, especially after the Associates.

Yep in the 80s this was the stock answer.
These days the footballers stock answer is mainstream hip hop, RNB and some UK Garage - from listening to Wright & Bright and few other radio programs.

SVEN DROPS MARSEILLE CLANGER
Sven-Goran Eriksson has dropped another clanger by admitting that he is to become the new boss of Marseille - live on television.
The Swede was heard by millions of viewers telling Djibril Cisse that he was about to take over the reigns at the French club.
As Cisse was was being subsituted off in Marseille's 4-3 defeat in the Dubai Cup against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, the former England boss was heard asking him: "I am the next Marseille manager, do you intend to stay at my club?"
The Swede hasn't made the best of impressions at the French club, and was thrown out of the training ground on Tuesday for attempting to talk to Frank Ribery.
Eriksson's actions angered the Marseille staff, who quickly asked for security to escort him off the training ground.
"It is funny to see that," said Marseille's director of sport Jose Anigo. "At the moment he is nothing.
"One thing is certain, those kind of people don't know what Marseille is all about. L'OM are special to the town and people."
Anigo has expressed his displeasure at the way Eriksson has behaved in the wake of the rumours circulating about his impending appointment.
"I don't know if they are really interested in L'OM, but if he is to join the club, he will have to do it with more discretion and class," Anigo added.
"He has invented a new way to sell himself and to communicate - to sound important in clubs where people already work."
Eriksson has been out of work since leaving the England job last summer but is still under contract and being paid £6,500-per-day by the FA until he lands a new job.
