HI DERE, Monday, 2 February 2009 16:11 (sixteen years ago)

there's a reason livin on a prayer comes first

who says you can't go home is better than most of these

double bird strike (gabbneb), Monday, 2 February 2009 16:26 (sixteen years ago)

just for that, I will be voting for "Never Say Goodbye"

HI DERE, Monday, 2 February 2009 17:00 (sixteen years ago)

"you give love a bad name" is so gorgeously over-produced and glossily mixed (bruce fairbairn/bob rock ahoy), it makes mutt lange sound restrained. a synth-metal peak.

paper plans (tipsy mothra), Monday, 2 February 2009 18:03 (sixteen years ago)

livin on a prayer key-change just out-edges the ultra-saccharine hilarity of Always

Gukbe, Monday, 2 February 2009 18:45 (sixteen years ago)

"Lay Your Hands On Me" didn't need to be 6 minutes long. "Wanted Dead or Alive" did, I can't decide whether to vote for that or "Livin'" or "Runaway". Got a lot of time for "Blaze of Glory" too.

McAlmont and I'll Get You Butler (Noodle Vague), Monday, 2 February 2009 18:48 (sixteen years ago)

Between the great guitar synthesizer of "Livin' On a Prayer" and "Keep The Faith". Going for the former. Bon Jovi has always been hit and miss, but at their best, they have tended to be quite good.

Geir Hongro, Tuesday, 3 February 2009 04:19 (sixteen years ago)

In reality, none of them because this CD is terrible.. But for nostalgia's sake, this was a tough call that landed on "I'll Be There For You."

billstevejim, Tuesday, 3 February 2009 04:21 (sixteen years ago)

lol "I'll Be There For You" is terrible

HI DERE, Tuesday, 3 February 2009 04:22 (sixteen years ago)

yup

billstevejim, Tuesday, 3 February 2009 04:39 (sixteen years ago)

I had this CD when I was a kid and it got stuck in the CD player at the house I lived in from 20-23. It used to automatically play every time you took a CD out. Pure torture.

"Wanted", for Richie's guitar solo with all the pinch harmonics and off-key notes.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 3 February 2009 05:10 (sixteen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

Interesting how the best songs by far are the shortest ones.

Mark, Friday, 13 February 2009 02:12 (sixteen years ago)

i imagine, but am in no way sure, that anything that exceeds the 5:30 mark is insufferable power ballad sap when it comes to this band.

Charlie Howard, Friday, 13 February 2009 02:39 (sixteen years ago)

"Keep The Faith". They actually got pretty good for a while once they got rid of Bruce Fairbarn and replaced him with Bob Rock.

Geir Hongro, Friday, 13 February 2009 11:34 (sixteen years ago)

AAAAAAALWAAAAYSS
