mavafangu (3 days ago) Zelma DOES NOT do the vocals on this song. Martha Walsh is the actual singer but because people are so superficial and shollow so they used Zelma for image reasons only. Martha is a very large woman and her image did not fit in the superficial music world. She was also the vocals on Black Box 's singles EVERYBODY EVERYBODY and STRIKE IT UP. MARTHA WALSH IS THE REAL DEAL!!!!!!

which one is "y'all want this party started quickly...right?"

figgy pudding (La Lechera), Tuesday, 3 February 2009 22:41 (sixteen years ago)

I think I had completely repressed whatever memory I had "Here We Go..," but that YT clip brought it roaring back. I've gotta go with the obvious here: GMYS, especially b/c it the awesome rap stanza "It's your world, and I'm just a squirrel, trying to get a nut, to move your butt."

Ricky Apples (Pillbox), Tuesday, 3 February 2009 22:47 (sixteen years ago)

*it contains the awesome rap stanza

Would vote for the awesomeness that is "Robi Rob's Boriqua Anthem"...

...but will have to settle for "Things That Make You Go Hmmmmmm"

I don't understand the "aka"s in the poll.

Um, this is missing another couple: where's "Just a Touch" and "A Deeper Love"?

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Tuesday, 3 February 2009 23:30 (sixteen years ago)

"A Deeper Love" was not technically C+C Music Factory.

Bianca Jagger (jaymc), Tuesday, 3 February 2009 23:40 (sixteen years ago)

I own the C&C and Aretha versions.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Tuesday, 3 February 2009 23:42 (sixteen years ago)

I like how "Things That Make You Hmmm" follows the "Bust a Move" template of a cautionary tale in four scenarios.

OTM

the Nigga who killed reggaeton (The Reverend), Tuesday, 3 February 2009 23:47 (sixteen years ago)

Anyway, voted for "Here We Go (Let's Rock and Roll)," whose 12" I played at my sister's birthday last Saturday.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Tuesday, 3 February 2009 23:50 (sixteen years ago)

"Groove Is In The Heart" >>>>>>>>>>>>>> your other examples, so maybe that's why I went for "Things That Make You Go Hmmmmmm". It really made me go "Hmmmmmmm" actually ;)

Anyway, "Pride" and "A Deeper Love" >> anything by C&C Music Factory.

i think id take 'just a touch' over any of the above

Where's "Do You Wanna Get Funky?" ?

Anyway, "Things" was the last cassingle I ever bought. It wins.
