Metal Maniacs, Metal Edge and Relix all "on hiatus"

Just got word that all of the music magazines published by Zenbu Media are "on hiatus," which I guess is a nice wyay of saying got the axe. As someone who had Metal Edge posters on his wall as a teen and who enjoyed Maniacs back when Katherine Ludwig was the editor, this is a sad day. I was never big on Relix but I know it had its place.

This sucks. Can we haz bail out?

Yeah, we've been talking about this a little on the Rolling Metal thread, mostly about Metal Edge and the great job Phil had done steering the magazine in a new, more exciting direction. Agree with you on Relix too, never read it much myself but I did read an enjoyable article or two and it definitely filled a niche.
