I just got done watching Ms. Kelly Osbourne's performance on the MTV movie awards. For those who haven't heard it she does a cover of "Papa Don't Preach." How do you kids feel about the original, how do you feel about this new one? MTV and Sharon Osbourne used the new video for this song as leverage in the latest negotiations. They are also going to have a Making the Video episode about it. I sort of like the original "Papa Don't Preach." You can see one of Madonna's nipples in the video.

I'm curious about this whole Kelly thing because I was at work yesterday and a girl told me I look exactly like her. She introduced this "fact" by saying you must get this all the time. Keep in mind I don't have pink hair but it is short and as punk-ish as my crappy job will allow. I am chubby. Maybe all white short-haired chubby girls look like Kelly Osbourne.

I quite like the original. To my mind, possiblyt the last thing Madonna did that was worth listening to (although "Vogue" weren't bad).

Kelly O? When are her fiftenn seconds going to be up? Poor Oz.

I wrote this in on my Focus Group ballot. I didn't rate it highly, mostly because it doesn't really sound like they did much with it other than turn it into a rock song. I guess she sings it OK, but it's hard to really tell with all the guitars and things.

Someone told me about a month ago that I looked like Jack Osbourne. I was severly offended. She then proceeded to say that I was thinner and had cooler hair.

(1) Maddonna has never been a great singer. This is part of why we love her (if we do) - it's drive over talent! (2) Maddonna keeps pumping out the pop genius - how about 'Like A Prayer' Huh? (3) Kelly being Ozzy's kid may well account for an ability to hold a tune. Nice 'comedy' choice as well, in keeping with the schtick. Not that i've seen it yet but there's so much media, i doubt I'll have to.
