well I was thinking more about songs which are somewhat disturbing in their content, or which provoke mild confusion on the viewer, as in 'is this shit for real?' Not a hater thread on bands which are known for polarizing opinions around here.

^ No. Gay lyrics are good by me, but this song is godawful. The beat is ridiculous, the video makes me want to poke my eyes out and the lyrics are pretty much delivered with no taste. Samwell is just thriving for the negative reactions.

Ever heard of "camp"? I think the tune and the video are both quite fun.

I mean, it's not like the people who made it conceived it as a serious piece of art that should be analyzed from a serious critical stance.

I'm not picking obscure tracks considering this. This are songs which have become slightly important pop hits for some people at some point, this is what disturbs me, that there's so many people truly enjoying these songs, and not in an ironic sort of way.
