.. that is, the round edge new style.
HMV says no. They have the old pointyedge ones, loads of them.

i've always wondered about this, hence why i look after the rounded edge ones more.and i know people hate'em, but i dont'. i actually prefer them to the regular jewelbox.also, they are great for cd/dvd, double cd sets.

These really failed to catch on here in the States, apparently. I remember a couple "big" releases last year had these (the remastered Led Zep thing comes immediately to mind) but now they don't seem to show up on shelves anymore.

I don't know where you are in the world but we have these in Avalanche Glasgow if you're needing them, not sure on price, maybe 50p each?

Aren't all Universal CDs released in those round edge boxes? That's a lot indeed.
I agree those boxes are ugly. Don't understand what was wrong with the older ones, who got really beautiful once U2 on "Zooropa" got the idea to get rid of the black back and make it see through instead.

Yeah, Universal use them a lot. They're called Super Jewel Cases and are supposedly more durable, amongst other fantastic benefits... http://www.superjewelbox.co.uk/

I have a few of these, and I didn't even realize it was a thing.
