seriously guys this is one of my favourite albums of the decade...I love it so much...it's not quite as good as Dragnet or Slates or Hex but it IS almost there...

(btw i'm going with the U.S. tracklisting, as that is the version that I have)(though I am using some of the U.K. song-titles)

yeah guys...I mean, Hexagon beats Panda Bear & Fleetfoxes to the punch i/r/t the Breach Boys fixation, Green Eyed is ace electrodribble, Protein Protection pounds, Xyralothep is awesome psychogarage paranoia...plus the lyrics: "Dear Dope, if you want to catch me, you need a hook and a line, Signed the Fish" Some of the songs go on a bit too long (this is the Fall) but besides taht, nothing but awesomeness.

Hey, I haven't heard much Fall, but if I really love The Light User Syndrome and think that The Marshall Suite is a fucking A++ awesome record, would I also love their other modern-day stuff?

there's no antivote to (country matters), Monday, 16 February 2009 16:08 (seventeen years ago)

Xexagon for me, just pipping The Past (astonishing) and Boxoctosis - "Land of bounty! Land of no king! Land of return to seat!" (or sleep or whatever it is).

Just love the drama inherent in the line 'When I died' and the spectral Beach Boys schtick.

Yes, antivote, dig 'em out. Unutterable and this one in particular. Levitate I think is up there with their very best, but divides opinion fairly strongly.

Unutterable and Levitate both excellent in my opinion. This one also great.

For me it's Sparta all the way even though this version is much weaker than the UK one. When I first heard that song (Peel Session version is the best), I thought it was some lost 1985-era classic.

it's between xyralothep and Janet vs. Johnny for me...might be the former bcz the version of Janet vs. Johnny I like is the slightly electrodrizzled version on The Fall vs. 2003 single...

The original mix is so much better, the CD version is just weak in comparison.

God knows I loved The Fall until some time round about the first one of these polls.
