They've been mentioned exactly twice on this site. I'm listening to their debut Make Believe for the first time now, and it's bringing back memories of mid '90s soft rock even though I've never heard a note of their music before today. Is it fair to write these guys off as The Cardigans with a busier rhythm section and more mellotrons? Chartpop that crusty old prog dudes are allowed to drool over without feeling guilty (their drummer is Mattias Olsson of Änglagård fame)? Nothing I'm hearing is as stunning as, say, "Lovefool," but "Teenage Alex" wouldashouldcoulda been a minor worldwide hit. Are any of their later albums worth seeking out?

Make Believe has become my default listening-while-walking selection. the songs are just okay, but there's something very charming about her voice. i do intend to check out the other albums, though i wouldn't call it a high priority.

not as good as The Charade.
