The tragedy of it is that nobody sees the look of desperation on my face. Thousands and thousands of us, and we're passing one another without a look of recognition.

I predict a runaway winner...

Mark G, Monday, 16 February 2009 15:56 (seventeen years ago)

Love's Sweet Exile. Its Manics doing baggy, and Nicky Wire said of it "I think it has to go down as our worst ever record".

DavidM, Monday, 16 February 2009 16:24 (seventeen years ago)

xp - haha yeah - that one was easy

baaderonixx, Monday, 16 February 2009 16:30 (seventeen years ago)

Looking at the track list, it seems I don't rememember anything after 'Stay Beautiful' (altho god knows how often I played this album upon release)

baaderonixx, Monday, 16 February 2009 16:32 (seventeen years ago)

haha otm. remember the last track, but 'spectators of suicide'? nope, nothing.

'Love's Sweet Exile' has the most ridiculous solo; might edge it for my vote because of that.

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

Voted "Little Baby Nothing" for the last minute of it. Album stands up imo.

Pull Out the Pingu (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 1 March 2009 01:20 (sixteen years ago)

Tough choice, went for love's sweet exile in the end. If the original version of Spectators of Suicide was on it I probably would have gone for that. In retrospect I kind of hate myslef for not choosing the bomb squad version of Repeat. It really is a great album though.

Ignoring the number 1 slot this was a pretty good poll.

If they re-ran this poll today, I could imagine the track in last place getting more votes than the winner here.

OK maybe a somewhere in the middle track.

Mark G, Friday, 27 May 2011 10:42 (fourteen years ago)

how did "Slash 'n' Burn" get nul point? how did "Sterile like a line of piss" not make the title?

Deeez Nuuults (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 May 2011 11:09 (fourteen years ago)

Deeez Nuuults (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 May 2011 11:10 (fourteen years ago)
