I'm glad I've got until April to decide.

Nurse Detrius (Eric H.), Wednesday, 18 February 2009 05:25 (seventeen years ago)

really trying avoid kneejerk HARDER BETTER FASTER STRONGERing this poll since i just finished interstella 5555 about 3 minutes ago and instead actually thinking about this

From Rax to Rich's (jjjusten), Wednesday, 18 February 2009 05:30 (seventeen years ago)

my number one would be

but, i dont like the original all that much, so i voted r909.

, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 05:57 (seventeen years ago)

I'll obviously be the only voter for "Human After All" (the album's title track) but it really is the best song they've ever done.

ilxor, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 06:59 (seventeen years ago)

digital love, no doubt.

t0dd swiss, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 07:46 (seventeen years ago)

Wait...Musique wasn't a single?
I discovered them on a promo of MTV Amp comp with that track.

PappaWheelie V, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 07:51 (seventeen years ago)

I'm glad I've got until April to decide.

I hope that's long enough for me.

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 07:56 (seventeen years ago)

This will keep me up at night.

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 07:56 (seventeen years ago)

my first instinct was to vote for 'burnin' but im going to wait until nearer the time i think!

vain_bowers, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 08:46 (seventeen years ago)

This is so tough. I've been listening to Alive 2007 nonstop in the car so I like parts of all of them. Just listening to the OG version of Human After All right now for the 1st time and it's a contender, but so many classics!

DJ Mr. Face Stabba, M.D. (Whitey on the Moon), Wednesday, 18 February 2009 09:33 (seventeen years ago)

they never came close to topping 'da funk'

lex pretend, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 10:09 (seventeen years ago)

Oh god, this is close, but I do think it's Da Funk. (I was so scarred by overplay of Aerodynamic around the time it came out that it took me years to be able to listen to it again.)

I want your Fingers and I want your Ears (Masonic Boom), Wednesday, 18 February 2009 10:17 (seventeen years ago)

I mean, that BASSLINE. How can something so simple be so freaking amazing?

I want your Fingers and I want your Ears (Masonic Boom), Wednesday, 18 February 2009 10:18 (seventeen years ago)

amazed it took this long. great poll. one thing though, weren't the first two double a-sides: 'the new wave' b/w 'alive' and 'da funk' b/w 'musique? cos i suspect that might have some effect on the voting.

or something, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 10:21 (seventeen years ago)

I think Daft Punk are, probably, the band I associated most with ILM. Or at least, old school Freaky Trigger era ILM. But I suppose that could be because they were the first band that I actually discovered - or rather, came to appreciate - through ILM. Prior to that, I discovered music on mine own, and came to ILM to discuss things I already liked. It was the first time ILM actually influenced or changed my musical tastes.

I want your Fingers and I want your Ears (Masonic Boom), Wednesday, 18 February 2009 10:29 (seventeen years ago)

Digital Love

Josh L, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 11:17 (seventeen years ago)

it's got to be either da funk or around the world for me. but many timeless tracks here.

Charlie Howard, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 11:18 (seventeen years ago)

da funk or around the world.

groovy groovy jazzy funky pounce bounce dance (special guest stars mark bronson), Wednesday, 18 February 2009 11:19 (seventeen years ago)

Burnin' is my favourite music video ever incidentally

O Supermanchiros (blueski), Wednesday, 18 February 2009 11:31 (seventeen years ago)

Digital Love has got to be the one.

Chewshabadoo, Wednesday, 18 February 2009 12:08 (seventeen years ago)

So are these fellers releasing new material or what?

"chinese coke prank" (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 19 February 2009 00:33 (seventeen years ago)

This is tough. I'm afraid 'Something About Us' won't get enough love, which is minor heart break. But who am I to say this, this has got to be 'Digital Love' and I'm voting for it. So there!

Gerard (Le Bateau Ivre), Thursday, 19 February 2009 01:39 (seventeen years ago)

Da Funk.

xhuxk, Thursday, 19 February 2009 01:55 (seventeen years ago)

I had no idea "Something About Us" and "Primetime" got released as singles. Was the Primetime single the same version as on the album?

Digital Love is the correct answer here.

the next grozart, Thursday, 19 February 2009 02:18 (seventeen years ago)

The single release of 'Primetime' is the same version used on the video, it's not radically different, they just cut off some 12 or 15 seconds from the intro loop I think.

Moka, Thursday, 19 February 2009 07:14 (seventeen years ago)

btw, anybody knows if there's anyone selling replicas of their helmets? I wanted to wear one for the last custome party a friend threw here but I couldnt find any store that sold them :(

Moka, Thursday, 19 February 2009 07:16 (seventeen years ago)

All I could find were custom made, the best ones I saw were this ones:

Here's the link the original source were the girls explain how the customes were made.

Tempted by "Human After All" but let's sleep on it

baaderonixx, Thursday, 19 February 2009 08:59 (seventeen years ago)

I thought "Face To Face" had been a single too? I remember seeing promos or something. I love that song.

LeRooLeRoo, Thursday, 19 February 2009 17:59 (seventeen years ago)

Technologic and Prime Time of Your Life have some great fucking videos.

i'm shy (Abbott), Thursday, 19 February 2009 19:07 (seventeen years ago)

Around the World followed closely by Aerodynamic followed closely by Da Funk.

chap, Thursday, 19 February 2009 19:26 (seventeen years ago)

"Face to Face" was a club mix only deal, was it not?

Gukbe, Thursday, 19 February 2009 19:27 (seventeen years ago)

Da Funk.

zero learnt from nero (Neil S), Thursday, 19 February 2009 19:42 (seventeen years ago)

I still love the excessively long breakdown in "One more time"

I am using your worlds, Thursday, 19 February 2009 19:53 (seventeen years ago)

'Face to Face' could possibly be my favorite song EVER but I don't think it was a single.

http://www.discogs.com/Daft-Punk-Face-To-Face-Rare-Remixes/release/260250

not sure if this counts as being a single, if it did for me it'd be between 'face to face' 'burnin' and 'da funk'

vain_bowers, Friday, 20 February 2009 10:43 (seventeen years ago)

AROUND THE WORLD for the second bassline

max, Friday, 20 February 2009 12:41 (seventeen years ago)

around the world

Bernard's Butler (Raw Patrick), Friday, 20 February 2009 13:07 (seventeen years ago)

Cannot decide between One More Time and Da Funk. Impossible.

Venga, Friday, 20 February 2009 13:22 (seventeen years ago)

"face to face" was never released as a single. The release youve got there on discogs was a promo only.

digital love. . .

fuck dat

mehlt, Friday, 10 April 2009 16:08 (sixteen years ago)

Wow, I'm surprised at Digital Love winning. Thought it'd come down to Da Funk and ATW.

I voted Human After All due to current obsession, but could have really gone with anything except Technologic. And I've never heard the New Wave, they didn't put that on the Musique comp did they? Was it released on anything other than 12"?

DJ Mr. Face Stabba, M.D. (Whitey on the Moon), Friday, 10 April 2009 19:07 (sixteen years ago)

Are you not familiar w/ the ILM Discovery cult?

The-Reverend (rev), Friday, 10 April 2009 20:59 (sixteen years ago)

so so wrong, the results of this

maybe u should tell that to your laughing vagina (HI DERE), Friday, 10 April 2009 21:01 (sixteen years ago)

Winner is stupid. I'd have voted "Da Funk" but I love "One More Time" as well.

pipecock, Friday, 10 April 2009 21:43 (sixteen years ago)

I'm part of the cult of Discovery, Rev. I just thought those 2 singles were still the ones to beat.

DJ Mr. Face Stabba, M.D. (Whitey on the Moon), Saturday, 11 April 2009 05:01 (sixteen years ago)

I still love the excessively long breakdown in "One more time"

This is the main reason why I'm never happy hearing this song on the radio.. they ALWAYS cut out the best part..

billstevejim, Saturday, 11 April 2009 07:07 (sixteen years ago)

Technologic didn't deserve the last spot.

Moka, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 04:31 (sixteen years ago)

Technologic is shit. It sounds like an advert for a Hewlett Packard printer.

That said, the Basement Jaxx mix kicks a lot of ass.

dog latin, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 14:13 (sixteen years ago)

definitely Hewlett-Packard, not some other manufacturer
