Oh but how can I speak of the world rushing by...with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes....

"They forgive anything but greatness / these are scoundrel days"

You have just quoted two of my favorite songs of all time and I thank you profusely.

Don't you try to pretend
It's my feeling we'll win in the end
I won't harm you or touch your defenses
Vanity and security

― Josh, Tuesday, 11 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Fuck you
I won't do what you tell me!

― Dan Perry, Tuesday, 11 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Super disco disco breakin'

― Nate Patrin, Tuesday, 11 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

String all these lyrics together, put a good beat you can dance to behind it, and it'll be one of those crazy nu-rockDM-bling numbers that the kids seem to like.

I'll serve your ass like John McEnroe
If your girl steps up I'm skacking da hoe.

why is A-Ha so good? They induce some sort of haze within me. I hear them and I'm mesemerized. Whats the deal? I can't explain.

― Chris, Wednesday, 12 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

you know I've never bothered to look up the real lyric that sounds like "and poo in my bed" (i assume it's "you in my bed")

― Alan Trewartha, Wednesday, 12 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

― Chris, Wednesday, 12 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

no irony here, i used to love a-ha. has there been, like, a classic album or ignored but great pop song on an album since 'stay on these roads' ? ok so 'touchy' was lousy, but i f*ckin loved 'the blood that moves the body' at the time, and haven't looked in since.

give us a search/destroy type overview a-ha chris bloke can you ?

― piscesboy, Wednesday, 12 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Search: Hunting High and Low, with the obvious "Take On Me", "Living A Boys Adventure Tale", and "The Sun Always Shines On T.V."

Search : The entirety of "Scoundrel Days". beyond that I haven't a clue, these are the two albums that I thoroughly enjoy.
