Album poll topper was Midnight Love, an album I've been meaning to give another shot since reading Rickey's enthusiasm for it. Really need to do that sometime this weekend.

Andy K, Saturday, 21 February 2009 00:44 (seventeen years ago)

Only rational answer is "Muscles," obv.

Andy K, Saturday, 21 February 2009 00:48 (seventeen years ago)

Actually, that's a bad joke. The Time is the real answer, but Melba Moore is a dark horse.

Dear Editor:

I'd like to congratulate Marvin Gaye on his latest album Midnight Love on CBS records. He has been missing from the music industry, but it will be a pleasure to have him back. Good luck to you Marvin, your hometown loves you. You'll always be our "Pride and Joy."

Voted for "Love Come Down," "777-9311" was a close second.

This is between Marvin and Prince and The Time for me. I think I'll go for "777-9311" because it's the freshest to my ears, but I want to remark on how much I love the moment in "1999" when everything drops out except for the drums and the awesome rhythm guitar that was there all along but you never noticed until that point even though you've heard this song about 1999 times and it's all like EPIPHANY!

I went with "Sexual Healing" but I love this era; was driving through Memphis-area a few months ago and actually heard a few on these songs on the radio, was awesome

Impossible!

Andy: I slept on Midnight Love for years before I discovered its awesomeness in 2006, so go for it.

Baby I got sick this morning.
A sea was storming inside of me.
Baby I think I'm capsizing.
The waves are rising and rising.
And when I get that feeling ...

Eazy, Friday, 27 February 2009 00:36 (seventeen years ago)
