searched, couldn't find a thread, and they're playing the triple rock here in sunny MPLS tomorrow. from ontario? all i can glean from their myspace is that they might have a sort of mclusky vibe filtered through arty (ugh) dancepunk?

save me from wasting an evening and let me know if this is good or not

How the hell are you supposed to say that? "Date month year"? I've seen some stupid names in my time, but that's right up there.

I saw DD/MM/YYYY in New Brunswick (NJ) last year and they were pretty fun from what I recall. Worth going to check out.

It would be cool if their name was whatever the particular date was on any given day i.e. =TODAY() in Excel, spreadsheet fans.

Their new record,Black Square, is really really good.
i think they are better fit (and would be more successful) in the 90's with their sound, but who cares, it's great wither way

Zeno, Monday, 9 March 2009 01:54 (seventeen years ago)

i came to post VLOOKUP, but a bandname this shit only works when preceded by DJ

Been digging Black Square thanks to this thread.

McLusky yes, dancepunk no
Hm, I'd say the opposite; I hear a synthier hyperactive Q and Not U/Les Savy Fav, but very little Mclusky. Eh, whatever it is, I like it but don't have the words for it.
