Does anyone else see the similarity in the way Axl Rose sings on Estranged and britney spears' trademark warbling/screeching??

I heart the (faux?) Nu ILM.

I thought this thread was going to be a 20-months-late thread about Britney's Super Bowl outfit.

Axl inspires Pink --> Pink has anxiety of britney influence --> this is the reverse of influence --> Pink influences britney --> Britney is influenced by Axl!

Wait... no... I mean Britney INFLUENCES Axl!

When has Britney ever screeched? (I'd probably like her more if she did.)

I would call Britney's normal tone closer to a quack than a screech.

Waht about when the producer puts those obvious electronic warbles on some bits? that sounds like ... Cher?

I don't mind the vocal tremolo stuff, what really pisses me off is the band-pass filter shit. IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU SOUND SEXY. IT MAKES YOU SOUND LIKE A TRUCK DRIVER.

*Ahem*

Also, on Britney's actual voice, she tends to always do this thing where it sounds like her voice is about to crack. Like at the start of lines and some words it sounds almost like she's speaking for the first time first thing in the morning, and the first syllable doesn't quite make it out. Anyone know what I'm talking about here?
