There's a woman in my office named Wendy, and I think of the Beach Boys song when she walks by. Another woman is named "Peg," and it's ditto w/ Steely Dan.

Oddly enough, that Manitoba CD also has a song called Dundas, which is the hometown of one of my Toronto friends. We both had the CD, which meant that we both had an ode to our hometowns on it! Neat! (note: Mae Moore was apparently not born in Brandon, but was certainly raised there from very early on, and I think she left around age 6.)

The only ones I know of offhand are Borbetomagus & Voice Crack's extremely dubiously titled collaboration "I Want To Be a Black Weightlifter Named Douglas" and Bitch Magnet's "Douglas Leader." Supposedly there's a Hawkwind song called "Douglas in the Jungle," but I've never heard it.

There are songs by the Clean and God Is My Co-Pilot where they mention me by name in the song, though...
