You really don't need to do this.

Captain Save-Ahlo (The stickman from the hilarious xkcd comics), Tuesday, 3 March 2009 00:44 (sixteen years ago)

Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes & Holm: "Hallelujah" (Yes, I think you know who gave them the idea for that cover version ;) )

William Hut: "Take It Easy"

Grandioas: "Full Pakke" (Only found the add the song was based upon, but the excerpt is from the actual hit song):

Kurt Nilsen: "Push Push"

Sichelle: "Fuck Deg"

Alejandro Fuentes: "Hell If I"

Glenn Lyse: "Days Go By"

The Madcon one you know already, so no point linking that :)

Going for William Hut myself, I think. One of the most Norwegian dominated singles years ever in the Norwegian chart history.

Sorry to say it, but the Norweigan songs aside from Madcon are a damn lousy bunch. Sichelle is the best of them, largely because of the (I'm guessing deliberate?) comedy swearing.

Gonna have to be Umbrella, boringly.

Swearing definitely, but not comedy. Rather a Norwegian teenage girl's take on "I Will Survive", or something like that.

I still really like the William Hut one. Most of the rest are rather boring stuff from once Idol winners or participants. The verison of "Hallelujah" probably sounded amazing to kids who hadn't heard Jeff Buckley's version, and I guess that is why it got extremely popular (mostly sold as an album, but the album was the biggest seller of the year here)

And, well, even I, as a rap hater and all, have to smile when I hear Madcon doing "Beggin". A deserved European hit.

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

Good lord, Sichelle's song was a HIT!? Worst country ever.

Øystein, Saturday, 7 March 2009 00:20 (sixteen years ago)

I never understood why it was either.

Waiting a little until I post the next poll. Letting this one get close to finishing at first.

I am pretty sure those who voted for Sichelle wouldn't have had they been able to understand those horrible lyrics ;)
